At The Bridge, we’re committed to creating opportunities for people of all abilities to live with independence, purpose and connection. As our organisation has grown and evolved, it became clear that our website needed to evolve too. That’s why we’ve launched a brand-new website, designed from the ground up to be more accessible, easier to navigate and better reflect who we are today.
Putting People First
The Bridge supports people from diverse backgrounds, experiences and abilities. Our website is often the first interaction someone has with our organisation. Whether they’re looking for support, exploring employment opportunities, accessing NDIS information or learning more about who we are.
We wanted to create an online experience that welcomes everyone and makes it easy to find the information they need. Every decision throughout the redesign was guided by one question:
How can we make it easier for people to connect with The Bridge?
Accessibility at the Core
Accessibility wasn’t an afterthought; it was a foundation of the project.
The new website has been designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. This helps to ensure more people can confidently access information and services online.
Some of the accessibility improvements include:
- Accessibility-first design and user experience
- Built-in accessibility tools
- Google Translate functionality
- Clearer page layouts and content structure
- Improved readability and navigation
- Mobile-friendly design across all devices
By removing barriers and improving usability, we’re creating a more inclusive digital experience for participants, families, carers, staff, referral partners and the wider community.
Making It Easier to Find Support
We know that navigating services can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re looking for information quickly. A key goal of the redesign was to simplify the user journey and make it easier for people to find the right information at the right time.
Whether someone is looking for community supports, employment services, accommodation, support coordination or helpful resources, the new website makes it easier to explore what’s available and take the next step.
Better Reflecting The Bridge
Over the years, The Bridge has continued to grow, innovate and expand its services. We wanted a website that accurately reflects the breadth of support we offer and the impact we have within the community.
The redesign provided an opportunity to revisit our brand story and ensure a consistent message throughout the website. It has also been designed to do more than share information. It has been built to support stronger engagement, connection and growth into the future.
A Website Built by Many
A project of this scale is never achieved alone. The new website is the result of contributions from staff across The Bridge who helped review content, provide service information, share feedback, supply photos and stories, and contribute valuable insights throughout the project. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in bringing this vision to life.
Explore the New Website
We’re proud to share a website that better reflects The Bridge, supports greater accessibility and makes it easier for people to connect with our services.
Whether you’re a participant, family member, carer, staff member, referrer, business partner or community member, we invite you to explore the new website and discover everything The Bridge has to offer.
Because access to information, support and opportunity should be simple, inclusive and available to everyone.
