We are currently recruiting for a part-time Disability Support Worker to support people with a disability either in small groups or 1:1 within our Day Services, at our Berwick site with The Bridge Connects. This position will be 30 hours per week, 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
The main objectives of the positions are to provide quality support to participants in a variety of activities, promote independence and inclusion in the community.
The role may also require you to support people who require additional needs including personal care and supporting people who have behaviours of concern.
A Certificate IV in Disability and a full, valid Driver’s license are a must for this role.

We provide both 1:1 and group support for people with disabilities. Your Supports, Getaways and Day Site Services provide our support workers with lots of variety across our organisation. We run a range of activities that increases community participation, individual growth, and connectedness.
To be successful in this role, you need to act with integrity, work collaboratively, respect individuality and possess a can do attitude! You are inspired to empower those with a disability to live the life they want.
Strong communication and problem solving skills, a current First Aid/CPR Certificate, and a reliable car/transport are must haves for this role. Comprehensive insurance is also required for 1:1 support roles.
