We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Assistant Operations Manager to help keep our Connects services running smoothly. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll provide operational and administrative support that enables our teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day administration and coordination of Connects services
• Assist with participant onboarding, service changes, and transitions
• Provide operational and administrative support to Service Coordinators
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and system data
• Support participant safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
• Monitor and track participant information, engagement, and feedback
• Coordinate documentation, follow-up actions, and operational communications
• Prepare reports, meeting materials, and data summaries
• Support audits, incident management, and quality improvement activities
• Help promote consistent processes, systems, and ways of working across the team

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field and have significant experience in disability, specifically group supports and day services. Experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a disability day service is essential, including participant-centred service delivery, workforce coordination, incident and risk management, safeguarding and restrictive practice processes, and compliance with NDIS requirements and quality standards.

We’re looking for a casual Training and Support Officer to join our welcoming and fast‑paced Dandenong warehouse. This is a flexible opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and wants to make a real difference.

In this role, you’ll work alongside Supported Employees across multiple production and process lines, providing practical training, encouragement and day‑to‑day support. This is a people‑first role where you’ll focus on what individuals can do — helping them build confidence, develop skills and achieve their employment goals at their own pace.

Shifts are typically between 4–6/7 hours (within business hours) Monday to Thursday.

• Providing friendly, practical supervision and support on the warehouse floor
• Delivering on‑the‑job training tailored to different learning styles and communication needs
• Getting to know each Supported Employee’s strengths and supporting their growth
• Encouraging safe work practices and maintaining quality outcomes
• Actively participating in warehouse tasks (including repetitive work, lifting and standing)
• Being a consistent, positive and encouraging presence throughout each shift

• Maintain accurate documentation — shift notes, medication records, incidents, daily progress and goal tracking.
• Escalate risks or concerns promptly and ensure safeguarding and behaviour support practices are followed.
• Build strong relationships with families, allied health, and internal teams, contributing meaningfully to reviews and meetings.
• Champion a safe, inclusive, respectful team culture where everyone feels valued and supported.
