What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) services assist people with disability to live as independently as possible in their own home. This includes support with daily activities such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, developing independent living skills, and overnight support.

SIL funding covers staff to assist you, while you continue to plan for your rent and daily expenses – and we’re here to help you understand those details too.

How We Support You at Home

Our SIL services are offered in our independent living homes, where you’ll find a warm community and support whenever you need it.

We provide NDIS‑funded Supported Independent Living (SIL) options that focus on building your skills, maintaining your independence, and helping you feel safe, supported and in control of your everyday life. If you’re looking for meaningful support at home, seven days a week, our SIL services are designed to help you feel empowered and comfortable in a place that truly suits you.

Our Process

We know the right home is essential for your independence and wellbeing, so we use a simple meet and greet matching process to help find the best home and housemates for you. We look at your age, personality, lifestyle, interests, daily routines, preferred support times, the environment you thrive in, and your cultural or social preferences. This helps us create a safe, inclusive and supportive place where you can feel comfortable and at home.
