This role is best suited to someone with previous disability support, supported employment, community services or vocational training experience and at least a Certificate IV in Disability or Training & Assessment (or a higher/equivalent qualification).
This is not an office-based support role. You will spend most of your day on the warehouse floor actively supervising work teams, delivering hands-on training and participating in production activities alongside employees with a disability to support them to learn workplace skills, achieve productivity goals and build confidence in a structured warehouse environment.
You’ll focus on what people can do, supporting them to build on their strengths and reach their employment goals at a pace that works for them.

We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Assistant Operations Manager to help keep our Connects services running smoothly. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll provide operational and administrative support that enables our teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services.

What You'll Do
- Support the day-to-day administration and coordination of Connects services
- Assist with participant onboarding, service changes, and transitions
- Provide operational and administrative support to Service Coordinators
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and system data
- Support participant safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
- Monitor and track participant information, engagement, and feedback
- Coordinate documentation, follow-up actions, and operational communications
- Prepare reports, meeting materials, and data summaries
- Support audits, incident management, and quality improvement activities
- Help promote consistent processes, systems, and ways of working across the team
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field and have significant experience in disability, specifically group supports and day services. Experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a disability day service is essential, including participant-centred service delivery, workforce coordination, incident and risk management, safeguarding and restrictive practice processes, and compliance with NDIS requirements and quality standards.
