At The Bridge, our mission is clear. We want everyone to have a fair go. Community matters. Inclusion matters. Creating opportunities matters. Every person deserves the chance to thrive.
On Friday, 27 March, some of our team attended the City of Casey Community Awards. It was a moment to remember. We were named as a finalist in the Equity and Inclusion category. Then, the judges called our name and we won the award. It was humbling and made us proud. It showed that our daily work means something.
This award is not just a trophy. It is a sign that our Open Employment Services make a real difference. Our Casey CALD and Youth Project stands out. These programs help people from all backgrounds. Young people. People from culturally diverse communities. We walk alongside them, help them find work, support their dreams and we listen to their needs. We celebrate their achievements.
Our team makes all this possible. Their passion shines. Their care is genuine. Commitment is at the heart of what they do. They are the reason we succeed. This award belongs to every team member. It belongs to the people we serve. It belongs to the community that supports us.
We want to thank the City of Casey. Their support is strong. They champion a more inclusive and connected community and inspire us to keep going. They recognise the value in creating opportunities for everyone.
